- My Magic -

Name: Martial Arts Magic
Type: Caster
Description:
This is a physical based magic. It involves the manipulation of one’s chi (life energy) and fusing it with one’s magic, giving the user maximum control and efficiency over his energy. The main lesson is the control of one’s Chi. This magic improves the user’s physical body and abilities to near super human extent (extreme strength, stamina, reflexes, durability etc.).
There are 3 forms to it:
• Way of Ying: This form of spell is always offensive and is usually physical or physically induced. The attack is improved by the user’s Chi and can be improved by the Chi in more than the physical sense. The power behind these attacks is quite great.
• Way of Yang: This form of spell is usually supportive involving healing and defensive abilities as well as buffs. With this the user’s body (bones, muscles, eye sight etc.) can be manipulated and illusions can be made. The spell of this class may influence that of the Ying class (positively and/or negatively).
• Chi Release: This involves using raw magic. By concentrating all magic into one point/form it can take on any trait/have nearly any effect the user desires. (This fighting style is only available C-rank and above)
• Secret Art: This is form of Chi Release. The difference here being more powerful and having a different effect. While Chi Release does damage, Secret Art uses huge amounts of chi to either buff the user or have a certain effect on the enemy. (B-rank + only)

Strengths:
This magic has several benefits. First it is versatile capable of anything from healing to defending to supporting to attacking (both close and from afar). Then it automatically enhances the users physical abilities greatly and also makes their body very hardy (hard to wound). It is great in efficiency since it is mainly used to give a boost to the user’s physical traits. Since being in superb physical condition is a prerequisite it is very beneficial to the user. Also Chi Control spells are usually very powerful and so are the physical attack/defense spells. Being a physically based magic, it is usually uninfluenced by the elements.

Weaknesses:
Its weakness lies in having no element. It may not have a weakness, but has no strengths against the elements either. It is also very damaging to the user since it wears down the body (why one needs to be in top physical condition). Chi Control spells are very draining. Since mage using this magic are laid out to be more physical combatants they are quite poor when it comes to controlling raw magic. This poor control is beneficial – always overdosing the power – but therefore draining huge amounts of Chi/magic. Problematic may be fighting in water, since water hinders physical movement.



- My Magic Skills -

Name: Way of Ying: Palm
Rank: D
Description:
The user concentrates his Chi into his arm and palm and by doing so strengthening it. Then the user hits the enemy with a swift strike to any part of the body. The Chi-strengthened hit deals great physical damage.

Strengths:
No real strengths. It may send the enemy flying, but it is a pretty basic move. Like all physical attacks, blocking this attack with your body can still cause severe damage.

Weaknesses:
Like all physical attacks it has to connect to its target. If it misses, it misses and that’s that. It is also an attack hindered by water resistance. It cannot break through barriers.

Duration: 1

Name: Way of Yang: Way of the circle
Rank: D
Description:
This is a counter ability meant for defensive purposes. It operates behind the principal that circular movement can evade/stop near anything. The user either evades a close attack by swerving to one side guiding the enemy strike away with one hand and striking the enemy with the other hand as a circular movement is completed. The circular movement is meant to give extra power to the hit. Naturally the user’s reflexes and speed are increased shortly. If the attack is not close range, then the user controls his chi and either uses it to counter the spin of the incoming attack or to divert it using a circular motion.

Strengths:
It can counter most attacks that are direct and especially if they are heavy and slow. As long as it can be avoided, diverted or countered with a circular movement the attack is blockable.

Weaknesses:
Projectiles; While larger massive projectile can be diverted, smaller one’s are not that easy to catch/block. Especially when they come in numbers this skill is useless. Attacks that are flexible however (such as attacks from plant or water) are also not possible to be blocked.

Name: Way of Ying: Breaking Strike
Rank: D
Description:
This strike uses the same principal as “Way of Ying: Palm”. The difference is that here the user uses the fist to attack. This spell is meant to break defenses (physical and magical) and packs more power than the Palm. It is a spell that can shatter defenses weaker or at even level. While officially the rank of the spell is D it is actually unranked since it is dependent on the users power (if the user is C rank, this spell will shatter defenses that are C rank and below). The attack then travels through the shattered defense towards the target.

Strengths:
It is a true block breaker. It not only contains great power, but it destroys defenses and attacks the enemy at the same time.

Weaknesses:
If this Attack misses the spell is used and that’s that. It is also an attack hindered by water resistance. It cannot destroy defenses above its level, but still badly damage them.

Duration: 1
Cool Down: 2


Name: Way of Yang: Bone Armor
Rank: D
Description:
By concentrating some of his Chi, the user manipulates his bone structure into am Armor. The bone Armor is then detached from the main skeleton to ensure that no damage is done to the user by the bone armor as it shatters. Like Breaking Strike it is a spell of which the power is equivalent to that of its user.

Strengths:
It provides extra protection to its user. Attacks weaker than the users rank will only slightly damage it (6 hits), while attacks of the same level can do more damage (4 hits).

Weaknesses:
All attacks above the character’s level will shatter the armor after one hit.

Duration: until destroyed
Cool Down: 4



Name: Way of Ying: Low Swipe
Rank: D
Description:
The user uses his Chi to shortly boosts his speed and increase the power in his legs. After doing so the user quickly crouches and performs a low swipe rotation to kick the enemy’s feet from under him, causing him to lose balance and fall.
Strengths:
It causes the enemy to loose footing an trip… a dangerous position to be in when fighting.
Weaknesses:
Same as Way of Ying: Palm. It is a physical attack, so it has to connect. If it misses, it misses. It can’t be used when there is no footing (like in water).

Duration: 1
Cool Down: 1



Name: Way of Yang: Animalistic
Rank: D
Description:
The user adapts animalistic traits improving every aspect of his being to animalistic levels (great reflexes, strength, speed etc.) – from eye sight to strength.

Strengths:
Hearing, eye sight (even seeing in the dark), smell, reflexes, strength and other aspects of the physical abilities are improved.

Weaknesses:
It may heighten the senses but it makes them far more sensitive as well. Bright light, intense smells or very loud noises may disorient the user.

Duration: 6

Name: Chi Control: Energy Ball
Rank: C
Element: Energy
Description:
The user concentrates a large amount of chi between his hands and holds it there for a few second. Then he releases it firing it towards the enemy. It is a ball of raw magic that deals quite some damage. The ball itself travels at 80 km/h.

Strengths:
If the enemy is hit, bones WILL be broken or at least a shoulder dislocated depending on how strong the defense of the enemy is and if the attack hit directly or not.

Weaknesses:
It takes precious seconds to charge giving the enemy an opening to attack. It also greatly drains the user’s magical reservs.

Duration: 1

Name: Way of Ying: Weak Point
Rank: B
Description:
This is a very mean skill. First the user hits the enemy in a critical spot in the stomach area. If he hits, it immobilizes the enemy for a while and the user’s speed is increased tremendously and he strikes the enemy on all weak points of the human body.

Strengths:
While not hitting with increased strength, it is still a potentially deadly move. It uses the increased speed to strike each point on the human body causing bone fractures, internal bleeding, broken bones and dislocated joints. What points are hit depends on which points are easiest to hit.

Weaknesses:
If this attack misses all the magic goes to waste and the user is left open for several seconds.

Duration: 1
Cool Down: 4



Name: Way of Yang: Endure
Rank: B
Description:
This is a last-resort spell. It tenses up the user’s muscles and provides the bones with far greater stability and makes the muscles as hard as iron. The user is immobile during this time, but can take immense punishment.

Strengths:
This attack reduces all damage done to the user greatly. Attacks of lower rank have no effect; attacks of equal rank do some damage, but not much; attacks of higher rank are dulled to a point where they are at least one rank weaker.

Weaknesses:
The user takes on any punishment and remains immobile. While the damage is reduced, the user still suffers the pain and is harmed (slightly – but still harmed). It cannot be used for a long period of time afterward.
Duration: 2
Cool Down: 6


Name: Secret Art: Emperor’s Fury
Rank: A
Element: Energy
Description:
The user uses three quarters of all his left magic/Chi to create a great oriental Dragon of energy. It attacks the enemy an causes tremendous damage to anything it touches.

Strengths:
The dragon is very powerful and stays for some time. It is capable of seeking out and tracing its target.

Weaknesses:
It leaves the user severely drained and immobile for a while (weak from the sudden drain). Cannot be used for a long period of time.

Duration: 4
Cool Down: 12

Everyone start as 6 D Rank magic whether you start as any rank, except the admins, but you can upgrade your magic or buy new magic slots in the shop.
